About this service

Need something notarized but can’t easily get to a notary? Remote online notarization (RON) lets you sign and have your document notarized over a secure video call. I’m Jessica, an Illinois Electronic Notary Public based in Brimfield, and I’ll walk you through each step at a comfortable pace. Where you can join from You can join from Illinois or anywhere else in the United States. If you’re outside the US, I can help when your document relates to a US court, agency, property, or transaction. What you’ll need - Your document as a PDF, not yet signed. You can upload it when you book or through your secure session link. - A valid government-issued photo ID - A Social Security number and United States credit history, for the identity questions - A computer, tablet, or phone with a camera, microphone, and a steady internet connection How it works After you book, your session link comes by email from jessica@kitchentablenotary.com. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folder. At the start of the session, you’ll scan your ID and answer a few short identity questions. Then we review your document together, you sign electronically, and I add my electronic seal. You can download the finished document as soon as we’re done. Fees $25 for the first notarial act in your session, $10 for the first notarial act of each additional signer, and $5 for every other notarial act. You’ll pay by card through a secure link. Good to know Sessions are recorded, as Illinois law requires. Please check with whoever is receiving your document to make sure they accept electronic notarization.
