Who this helps
Spending the winter somewhere warm
If you split the year between Illinois and somewhere sunnier, you don't have to wait until spring to get paperwork notarized.
Away at college
Students can take care of forms like consent letters and affidavits without a trip home or a search for a notary near campus.
Traveling or working on assignment
On the road for work or on assignment? Join from a hotel room or wherever you're staying.
Handling things from a distance
Moved away but still have business back home? You can sign from where you live now without traveling back to Illinois.
What you'll need
Before your session, please have these ready:
-
Your document as a PDF, not yet signed
-
A current, unexpired government-issued photo ID
-
A computer, tablet, or phone with a camera, microphone, and steady internet connection
How it works
You book a time, your secure session link comes by email, and we meet on video. You'll confirm your identity, we review your document together, you sign electronically, and I add my electronic seal. For a full walkthrough, see How Online Notarization Works under Services in the menu.
